We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our community who have lifted our spirits with timely donations and thank you gifts. Our thanks go to Solstice Coffee Shop and Nurseries, Rugby who delivered plant pots to spruce up the front garden at Vicarage Road. The residents who live there then decorated the garden with bunting flags ready for their VE Day 75 Years celebrations. The finished result continues to make a great contribution to sharing community spirit with passers-by.

We also need to thank our local ASDA supermarket for the donation of seasonal gifts and games just before the Coronavirus lockdown. Their items were gratefully received by the people who we support, who have been enjoying the treats, and playing their games.
Added to these fantastic donations, families and friends have surprised us with their thank you gifts which have reminded us once again of the importance of the role we play in the lives of the people we support.
Our staff were delighted to be recognised for their bravery and dedication with an incredible donation from Central England Co-operative. As fellow essential key workers we very much appreciate this extremely kind gesture. Our staff continue to provide support with the utmost care and professionalism to the people who need them most. The message from the Co Op read “To one group of essential workers to another. We want to say thank you for your bravery and energy and thank you for looking after those who need you most in these difficult times.”
There was a second donation of plants, compost and pots from ASDA’s Community Champion which also brightened up one of our supported living accommodations ready for the VE Day celebrations. The difference made by the ongoing generous contributions from the local supermarket is quite breath-taking!
