Are you looking for a life changing career or ready for the next challenge? New Directions is looking for Support Workers who can help people with learning and physical disabilities to maximise their independence, make their own choices and control their own life path. We are holding a Recruitment Open Day on Saturday 24th March between 10am and 2pm where prospective employees can take a tour of the charity’s accommodation services and find out more about what is involved in becoming a Support Worker. The meeting point is the charity’s Head Office, 27 Bilton Road, Rugby, CV22 7AN. You can register your interest by calling 01788 573318 or just turn up on the day.

This recruitment event is open to existing Support Workers or those who are new to a role in health and social care. At the Recruitment Open Day there will be opportunities to meet Managers and support staff who will answer your questions about staff benefits, training available, career opportunities, shift work, casual work or how to apply for current vacancies at any one of its services. The people supported by New Directions will welcome you into their homes giving you an insight of the people you will be supporting.

Human Resources Manager Lorna Brindley said, “No two days are the same at New Directions, being a Support Worker is a rewarding job which includes providing personal, physical and emotional support with dedication and flexibility. There are many advantages to working for New Directions including technology to help support you in your role, bespoke working environments and a culture where staff are valued and listened to. Our Recruitment Day is a great chance to find out more about what it means to be a Support Worker and see the remarkable pioneering services we provide. We can offer positive career prospects for all our employees, full training, a voluntary healthcare cashplan, an employee assistance programme and childcare vouchers.”
