Are you looking for a rewarding career that changes lives? New Directions is Rugby’s thriving local charity supporting people with learning and physical disabilities providing a wide variety of person-centred services that meet people’s needs. We will be opening our doors for a Recruitment Day at The Exchange, 32-42 Albert Street, Rugby, CV21 2SA on Saturday 1st April 2017 from 10am to 2pm so please join us. You could become part of this growing charity as a Support Worker and make a real difference in your community. Our charity has been established for 65 years and fosters the capacity of the people it supports to make their own choices, develop their independence, learn new skills and make new friends.
As a Support Worker you will provide personal, physical and emotional support to disabled people who require assistance to live the life they choose at home and in the community. At the Recruitment Day there will be the chance to meet managers for an informal chat to answer your questions about training available, career opportunities, shift work, casual work or how to apply for current vacancies. If you would like to register your interest in this event please do so below or you can do so on our Facebook event page. For more information telephone 01788 573318 or email admin@newdirectionsrugby.org.uk
Human Resources Manager Lorna Brindley said, “Our Recruitment Day is a chance to find out more about what it means to be a Support Worker at New Directions, and to apply for the available roles. We can offer great career prospects for existing support workers or those new to the role with full training, a voluntary healthcare cashplan, an employee assistance programme and childcare vouchers.”
