I proudly became a member of the New Directions Team in March 2026 as a Deputy Manager, bringing with me over 12 years of dedicated experience in health and social care. Before my journey with New Directions, I had the privilege of supporting individuals with complex care needs, leading teams in dementia care settings, and fostering close collaborations with families, care teams, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure the delivery of attentive person-centred nursing and residential support.
These diverse experiences have refined my leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, which I now enthusiastically apply in my role at New Directions. My focus is on empowering our teams, nurturing positive relationships, and striving for the best possible outcomes for the individuals we serve. Working in various care settings has further enhanced my adaptability and ability to manage complex situations through teamwork.
I earned my NVQ Level 3 and pursued my academic growth at university, where I achieved a BA in Health and Social Care. Navigating my professional journey with dyslexia has given me unique insights into different learning and communication styles, equipping me to better support both my colleagues and the individuals in our care.
I am deeply passionate about cultivating trusting relationships and firmly believe that everyone deserves someone they can rely upon for support.
